Please join us for a wonderful "Southern Hospitality" tour to Georgia, a true Southern lady. This afternoon brings us to charming Macon for Georgia's "Cherry Blossom Festival". We'll stop for lunch on your own & exploring at Macon's Thrid Street Park. Enjoy Cherry Blossom ice cream and horse-drawn carriage ride. Our adventure continues as we explore the lovely shades of pink on the Cherry Blossom Riding Trail. We'll experience the mystery and beauty of the 1860 antebellum mansion,"The Hay House" and the "Cannonball House". Is there truly a cannonball in the wall? After freshening up at the hotel, dinner will be served by Lake Tobesofkee at the famous "Fish 'N Pig" Oprah enjoyed dining here, when she filmed her "Favorite Things"program in Macon. Delicious! Day two begins at Macon's Central City Park, which will have Cherry Blossom exhibits for all to enjoy. Then we're off to the Mulberry Street Arts & Crafts Festival. So many artists, artisans & crafters- so much to see! Enjoy! We will travel south toward home and return with memories of good times and special friends.
