The Putnam County Library System has removed more outdated and old materials from all the library branches. We expect to have OVER 9000 withdrawn from the system when the task is completed. This systematic removal is in order to make room for the many new books that have been ordered recently. The Putnam County Library Board and the staff of the Library System will offer a Huge Used Book Sale beginning March 14th. The book sale will be during normal library hours: Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 AM to 6 PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM to 9 PM, Fridays from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM. Normally, we end our book sales with our $1 fill-a-bag specials; but this sale extravaganza will also have that deal on the Saturdays of March 21st & 28th. Be sure to come in those days to take advantage of the $1 fill-a-bag special. We'd love it, and so will you! The monies raised from this great, big book sale will benefit the entire Library System; it will help fund our programs throughout the year, especially our special summer programs. Please tell your friends, neighbors, and anyone else you can about the book sale, we don't want anyone to miss this limited-time shopping event! If you have any questions, call the Main Library Branch at 386-329-0126. Also, check out our website funinputnam.com for the full event calendar for all branches, as well as many other resources.
