What you should know about me: I was born in Detroit, Michigan, but I was raised in Florida. Shortly after my family moved South, my parents discovered 91.3 Hope FM. It was through the radio station that my parents attended a concert at a church where they later came to know the Lord. I gave my life to Christ when I was nine. I was home-schooled, and yes, I’m socialized! I began a summer internship with the station in 2011 which led to becoming a volunteer and eventually, an employee. I’m an old soul with a passion for the next generation.
Favorite Verse: James 1:5, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
Which Hope FM song gives you hope: Lauren Daigle’s, “O Lord,” always fills me with hope. I love the line that says, “I will stand my ground where hope can be found.” If you have a relationship with Jesus Christ, there is always hope!
Favorite food: Does ice cream count? No matter the weather, I love it. Too cold to eat ice cream? No such thing! I also love chicken nuggets and mac and cheese. I eat like a kid.
When I’m not on the radio, you’ll find me… I’m a blogger, writer, aspiring videographer… I enjoying working out several times a week and when I’m not doing that, I’m sleeping!
