Today, I arise claiming triumph over evil at a constant. I start my day knowing that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I am valued. I am loved. I have new life, I have the gift of life everlasting so when my travels are done in this shell that I am in, I have a gift beyond compare. Today, I praise the one is Was and Is and Is to come.

Father, today I praise You for all that is good in my life, and for the lessons You give me. I thank You for the people You place in my life, allowing me to forge relationships in Your name, for You and about You. You are truly Love. I see Your amazing works every day. Protect those who protect us, shield those who provide us the very blanket of security that we sleep under—our Law Enforcement Officers. Protect their families from evil and continue to fill them with Your discernment and wisdom. Thank You for giving me more chances than I deserve, You are gracious. Thank You for allowing me to do Your work, guide me, teach me and be with me today! In Your name I ask and praise, Amen

Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things”. God is so good! He not only offers us His complete and abundant joy, God gives us directions on how to choose it. Instead of allowing our emotions to determine our day, we determine our thoughts to shape our day. He gives us the option, so let’s do it. Choose joy!

Father, I thank You that You are the giver of joy. If I choose joy and ask You for it, You never fail to fill me. Thank You for such a wonderful gift! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

I pray for my country for the leadership of my country, your country…… our country. I pray for the safety and security of our peace keepers, both civilian and military. I pray for people who renounce our savior. I pray for those who know our savior, yet struggle with things of this world. I pray for the lowly and destitute. Above all, this morning, I pray!

Father, I come to You as the world continues to self destruct. Yet as I speak with You, I continue to find joy and peace… I praise You for it. So as I start my day, I ask that You continue to “plug” me into Your stuff, God stuff, good stuff, allow me to be a conduit for Your goodness to others. Send the Spirit to work through me today that my smile or words may prick someone’s heart and lead someone to You. I praise You for wisdom, discernment and above all,, Your love. I ask all in the name of Jesus, Amen. ?P.S. Lord, don’t forget special blessings for the people I am working with ? Amen

It is impossible to appreciate any valley experience while you are in it. However, once you have reached the top of the mountain, you are able to appreciate what terrain you have passed through. You marvel at what you were able to walk through. The valley of the shadow of death has yielded more than you ever thought possible. You are able to appreciate the beauty of the experience and lay aside the sorrow and pain it may have produced. Adversity works in you for a greater purpose. If you are there today, be assured that God is producing something of much greater value than you will ever know. “We don’t have time to be afraid” Have a great day y’all, much love, Ricky

Where did God Go???Will the Lord cast off for ever? And will He be favorable no more? Is His mercy clean gone for ever? Doth His promise fail for evermore? Hath God forgotten to be gracious? – Psalm 77:7-9aSo often we look at life and wonder where God has gone; we look at all the things going wrong, and ask ourselves how a merciful loving God could let them happen. I read about one prominent atheist argument on that question alone. He challenges God by asking, “If God is so caring, why does He allow pain and suffering?” I look at it this way, it’s when I walk away from the light that things start to get dark. It’s not that the light that changed, or dimmed, but rather my decision to place a greater distance between it and myself. Today, how can you become closer to the light? Instead of focusing on all the terrible things that may have happened, how can you bring good into the world, and show others the light of God? A God who has not forsaken us, or forgotten His promises, but instead patiently waits for us to return to Him under our own free will, so that He may bless us and restore us (Luke 15:21-23).Father, it’s my prayer today that I continue to walk in Your light, to grow and thrive in Your light. Should I begin to stray, guide my steps back to you. Let me me reflect Your light on all those whom I come in contact with. Give me strength and wisdom to perform the tasking You have placed before me today. We praise You for all Your blessings and look forward to having another day with You blazing a trail closer to You. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

We live in a fallen world. Hardships, tragedies, sickness, death, betrayal, all come our way. It’s inescapable. But we do not do this life alone. Hold tight to His beautiful promises.- “For I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13)- “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20, NLT).In the deepest of valleys, through the darkest of times, Immanuel promises to be with us. Whether we see Him or not. By His very name we know He is there. Whatever you are walking through today, walk confidently, equipped and empowered, because God is with you every step of the way!Father, Thank You for being Immanuel. For coming to earth and implanting a piece of Your heart in mine to equip and empower me for the amazing life You planned for me. Help me to take hold of and walk confidently in those promises and that plan today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

At 51 years of age I finally found hope, encouragement and a renewed spirit while going through a turbulent time in my life. I didn’t like myself, struggled with many addictions, obsessions and tettered on destruction of not only myself, but my family. Although my plight was not one that I welcomed or embraced, I had to accept that this part of my life God had already known about before the foundation of the world. He was taking me through one of the most unpleasant times in my life and I had to trust that the one who I had given my life to, knew exactly what was best for me. There was something about my life that He was going to reveal and what I had faced and conquered was really going to alter my life forever. I had one choice to make; either I was going to allow myself to be bitter with what He had allowed to happen or I was going to let the situation develop and make me into a better person. I decided to use the situation to make me better. God was using my circumstances to bring me to a place of maturity, confidence and total dependency on Him. I learned not to look at my current condition (although quite hard at times), but I had to realize that some day God would show me why He had chosen me to carry this particular cross. There was a bigger picture that God had for my life, a picture that was revealed to me at 51 in the beginning of 2012. God wanted me to begin telling people what He had done for me during my ordeal and how He carried me through the rages of life. So many times I wanted to give up, throw in the towel and quit; but something inside me would not let me. God’s spirit was constantly bringing comfort to me, guiding me and assuring me that everything was going to work out for my good. God had a wonderful plan and purpose for my life even when I couldn’t see how things were going to turn out. I encourage you, even if things don’t go according to your plans, God has a plan that is so much bigger and better for you. Trust Him; you will not be disappointed. Start your year off on the right foot, listen to Him. Let Him reveal His divine plan for you and you will experience a peace and joy such as you have never experienced. I pray for God’s will for each and every one of you. GOD BLESS YOU!
