I had dreamed of being a journalist or filmmaker since I was very young. In high school I was very active in our school's choir and theater group. Whilst in college, I discovered a passion for radio. Specifically, Christian radio. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mount Vernon Nazarene University (same class as Rachel) with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Media Production and a minor in Film Studies from Los Angeles Film Studies Center in May, 2020. While in college, I was very active in the campus video and radio broadcast station, WNZR. I also worked with a local film company in Mount Vernon for two years and worked with the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities as their communication intern.
My husband, Jimmy, and I moved to Palatka from Columbus, Ohio to join the Hope FM family in November, 2021. We have two cats, Hobbes and Olive. We are both very thankful to our newfound family for all their love and support.
I love music, classic movies, and baking.
I'm the one with the camera. I'm in charge of social media, photography, and videos. You can also catch my show weekdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
I had a “Covid wedding”. My husband and I were married in a very small ceremony on New Year’s Day, 2021.
