Point-in-Time (PIT) Homeless Count

January 30 - January 31

The Point-in-Time (PIT) count is a count of sheltered and
unsheltered people experiencing homelessness one single
night. This count helps plan services necessary for our local
needs, measure progress in decreasing homelessness, and
identifies strengths and gaps in a community’s current
homelessness assistance system.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO SIGN UP TO GO OUT IN GROUPS
AND LOOK FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING
HOMELESSNESS. YOU WILL CONDUCT A QUICK SURVEY
AND GIVE THEM A “GOODY BAG” JUST TO LET THEM
KNOW THAT WE CARE.
