The Arts Council of Greater Palatka is presenting a special “Saturday Nite Live” in the Scarlett Hill Theater in the Larimer Arts Center with Stephen Chandler. Stephen is very excited about the release of his debuted titled, “All about the Vibe” which Pioneered from the mindset of being relaxed, enjoying life with friends, family and being able to stay focused to achieve goals despite obstacles. Saturday Nite Live will be Saturday, March 16, 2019. Show is from 7:00PM to 9:00PM and tickets are $7.00 at the door. The Larimer is located at 216 Reid St., Palatka, FL .Light refreshments will be served. The evening will include Stephen Chandler and his band Sleek. They always fill the house and we are pleased to have them back.
Mr. Chandler “Biography”
Stephen B. Chandler, born March 15, 1969 is a smooth jazz, classic soul, gospel musician. Chandler is also a song writer, music composer and recording engineer. Starting out as a drummer at the age of six at his local church, Stephen Chandler found himself to be a multi-instrumentalist, moving on to the bass guitar, organ and keyboard. In reference to previous instruments, Chandler discovered the saxophone to be the complement of his music.
In addition to music, Stephen Chandler has also acquired the skill of being a photographer and videographer. Mr. Chandler has played at numerous events in Putnam, Flagler County and other surrounding areas. His musical genius is a product of hard work, determination and having a desire to succeed without fear of failing. He possesses the ability to change the atmosphere at any event where he’s performing. He’s the ultimate character of professionalism, showmanship, and promotability.
A smooth Jazz band founded by Stephen Chandler. A collaborative sound of music that derived from a group of musicians both young and old with sounds ranging from Traditional Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Gospel and R&B. Stephen Chandler (Saxophone/Piano) Godfrey Smith Sr. (Bass) Willie Wright Jr. (Drums) Eddie White (Guitar) and Edwin Givens (Vocalist) complements the band. In conclusion, “Sleek” is a sizzling group of musical entertainment.
