I saw an example of faith that came from what you may think is an unusual place: my dog!
We don’t leave her home all by herself all that often. When we do it’s usually not for long, and during the day. So when we went out and stayed way later than we planned, well past dark, we wondered how she was going to respond.
She did great, apparently stayed right in her chair looking out the window or napping the whole time. Sure, she was extra happy to see us, but otherwise completely relaxed because she knew we’d be home even if she didn’t know when.
It was a big reminder to me that we learn to trust God even when things are uncertain. If she can trust us, we can surely trust God.
Hebrews 11:1: "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."
