About Me

Hello, my name is Ricky Bybee.  Originally from Indiana, I retired from the United States Navy in 2003 in Norfolk, Virginia, and moved my family to East Palatka, Florida in 2010.  My wife Jo and I serve at Trinity Baptist Church where I am the Associate Pastor.  I perform visitations serving  families and patients throughout our County, meeting them where they are, whoever they are,... at their homes, at hospitals, ministering to children as I conduct Chapel where my wife teaches Kindergarten, Hillcrest Academy, and in nursing homes, when called upon as well as serve Putnam County families in bereavement on the staff of a local funeral home.  I also been a volunteer as an "on call" Chaplain at Putnam Community Medical Center, and a volunteer Chaplain at the Roberts  Care Center, Haven Hospice.

I have lived 8 years of my life underwater in submarines!

 

Favorite Bible Verse

One I go to almost daily and often multiple times, Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God", I have a problem being still and need reminding constantly, ask my wife.  

 

When not on the radio, you’ll find me

 1) My grandchildren (three of which reside with me)

 2) Projects around our house and property (including some animals)

 3) Boating/fishing

Favorite Song is a song that defined my calling to Christ in 2011, my Saul to Paul moment, calling me to the ministry--Christ showing me His greatness, His will and His way,.... "Keep Making Me" by the Sidewalk Prophets.
