About Me

I am thankful everyday to be a part of Hope FM. Growing up, it was my dream to be a DJ and be part of a radio station. I spent a lot of time listening to her hometown station, calling in for all the contests, and going to all their events. As an adult, it’s a dream come true, but one I owe completely to the Lord. Shortly after becoming a Christian at age 19, a Christian radio station in Palatka was forming and they needed volunteers. I jumped at the chance to get involved, and a year later quit my job to work there. In 2001, I relocated to Palatka to join Hope FM and quickly made it my home.

My Job

I'm in charge of general station operations. I make sure things run smoothly. You can catch my show on weekday mornings from 6:00- 10:00.

Hometown

Although I was born in New York, I grew up in Gainesville, Florida, so that's what I consider to be my hometown.

Fun Fact

I gave my life to Christ at a Christian comedy show.

 

Favorite Bible Verse

Psalm 37:4 is the first one that really opened my eyes to God’s Word being completely applicable to every area of my life. “Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart,” is exactly what happened when He opened the door for me to go into radio, which I had given up hopes of ever doing.

 

Favorite Hope FM Song

It’s so hard to pick just one! You Love Me Anyway by Sidewalk Prophets still gets me choked up.  10,000 Reasons by Matt Redman helps me maintain an attitude of gratitude. And anything by Mandisa and We Are Messengers always speak to me!

 

Favorite Food

Another area where it’s hard to narrow it down. I like to eat! And I like to cook and bake. So does my husband, so at our house you should never be hungry.

When not on the radio, you’ll find me

Hanging out with my husband, Stacy, and the doggies. I am part of Grace Fellowship, so if you’re looking for a church that’s a great place to visit.
