There is a lot to worry about right now. It seems like every time we turn on the news, something else is falling apart. Something else about which to ask God, "How could you let this happen?" Maybe you're feeling hopeless. You're probably anxious about the future. At times like these, it's more important than ever to consult the One from whom our hope and peace come from.
I can't tell you why certain things happen. I can't promise that things will work out right here, right now. But for those of us in Christ, we know how this story ends. We have a hope and a future in Christ. We have a hope in a future with no more pain, no more tears, and where our only concern will be beholding the glory of God. It's times like this I have to frequently remind myself this is not it for us. Let us remember that God will never leave us or forsake us. Let us remember that He is working all things for our good and His glory.
