Sometimes faith is forged in the hardest seasons, the moments when hope feels distant, prayers feel unanswered, and you’re just trying to hold on. That’s where “I Believe You” by Megan Woods was born.
Megan shared that this song came from a deeply personal season of struggle. “I had lost hope and didn’t think I’d make it through,” she said. “But Isaiah 40:31 reminded me that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” Out of that reminder came a song that speaks to anyone who’s ever wondered if they’d make it to the other side of pain.
I’d be lying if I said that I’m okay, Cause right now, I’m lost, And lost count of the broken prayers I’ve prayed, And it’s true that some days, It’d be easier to doubt, But Your word has never let me down
That honesty is what makes “I Believe You” so relatable. It’s not a song of perfect faith, it’s a song of fighting to believe when everything inside you wants to give up. But in those moments, Megan reminds us of the truth that never fails: God’s Word stands firm.
So I believe You, When You say You’re fighting for me, I believe You, When You tell me that my story, Isn’t over just yet, I will rise up again, You promised me that I will make it through, And I believe You
It’s a declaration for weary hearts. When life feels uncertain, we can rest in the same truth that carried Megan through her darkest days, God is faithful. He is fighting for us, His promises still stand, and He will bring beauty from the broken pieces.
If you’ve been walking through a difficult season, let this song remind you that your story isn’t over. God’s not finished yet, and you will make it through.
Because when He speaks… we can believe Him.
