New Music Friday: Jeremy Camp "Revival"
What if revival doesn’t begin in a stadium… but in your heart?
Jeremy Camp’s powerful new single “Revival” points us toward a truth we sometimes forget: real revival begins personally. It starts when we lay down our pride, surrender our fears, and invite God to renew what has grown cold within us.
He says the heart behind the song came from personal prayer, reflection, and a desire to see wholehearted faith restored. This isn’t simply an anthem to sing—it’s an invitation to stop, look within, and get honest with God.
Revival begins with surrender.
Revival begins with prayer.
Revival begins with YOU.
And I’ll be honest… I’ve spent plenty of time asking God to revive everybody else around me, only to realize He was saying, “Ricky, let’s start with you!” Sometimes the greatest revival we need isn’t happening across town—it’s happening in the mirror, in our prayer closet, and in the places of our heart we’ve been trying to manage ourselves.
Before we ask God to change the world around us, maybe the first prayer should be:
“Lord, revive me.”
