New Music Friday: "Jesus Loves" by Zach Williams

Zach Williams has a way of writing songs that speak right to the heart, and his new one, “Jesus Loves,” is no different. It’s a beautiful reminder that no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, Jesus still loves you. This song isn’t fancy or complicated—it’s honest, real, and full of hope.

What makes this song so special is that it reminds us we don’t have to have it all together to be loved by God. In a world that tells us we always have to be more, do more, or fix ourselves, “Jesus Loves” tells us the opposite. It says, “Come just as you are.” That’s the message of the Gospel, and Zach brings it to life in such a powerful way.

There’s a part of the song that really stands out:

“So no more running No more hiding Come on in and you will find That you don't have to be enough To be someone Jesus loves”

That line just stops you in your tracks. It’s honest. It’s comforting. You don’t have to earn Jesus’ love—you already have it. You can stop trying to be perfect and just rest in the fact that He loves you, right now, just as you are.

It reminds me of Romans 5:8, where it says, “But God shows His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Jesus didn’t wait for us to clean up our lives before He loved us. He came to us right in the middle of our mess.

So if you’ve been feeling like you’re not enough, or like you have to hide the real you—this song is for you. Let it remind you that you’re already loved. You don’t have to try so hard. Just come to Jesus. His arms are wide open.
