New Music Friday: "The Love I Have For You" by Colton Dixon

This song feels like a gentle reminder straight from God’s heart. It starts in that place we all know too well... anxiety, exhaustion, feeling distant, wondering how we’re going to make it through another hard stretch. And then comes the reassurance: you’re not alone, and you never have been.
It reminds me of Isaiah 41:10:“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
What I love most about this song is how steady the love is. Not flashy. Not conditional. Just faithful. God doesn’t get tired of reminding us. He’ll say it once, twice… a thousand times if that’s what we need to hear.
Honestly, this is something we could all use as a daily reminder. On the anxious mornings. On the days we feel strong and the days we feel weak. When we forget to pray. When we feel like we’ve missed too many moments. God’s love doesn’t waver because 6He’s still our light in the dark, still by our side in the fight, still strong when we aren’t.
If today feels heavy, let this be your reminder: You’re going to make it through, not because you’re perfect or fearless, but because of the unshakable love God has for you.
