New Music Friday: "Wait For Me" By Zach Williams

I don't know about you but I don't like the feeling of being rushed.
Like when you’re running late, juggling too many things at once, and someone’s standing there saying, “Come on, hurry up.” Your thoughts get scrambled, your decisions feel forced, and nothing comes out quite right.
Now contrast that with how God moves.
He’s never pacing, never pressuring, never anxiously checking the clock. Instead, Scripture reminds us of something completely different:
Isaiah 30:18 says,“Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore, He will rise up to show you compassion…”
And in 2 Peter 3:9,“The Lord is…patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish…”
When we’re taking our time trying to figure out the next step… He’s waiting. When we say we want to change but still cling to what’s comfortable… He’s waiting. When we’re not quite ready to let go, not quite ready to surrender, thank God, He doesn’t walk away.
He waits.
Not because He’s distant… but because He’s loving. He’s giving us the space to come to Him willingly to ask for help, to release what we’ve been holding, and to trust Him with what’s next.
That’s what makes the new song Wait For Me by Zach Williams hit so deeply.
It captures that honest place we’ve all been; taking the long way home, knowing we need God, but struggling to fully let go. And yet, through every delay, every detour, every moment of hesitation… He stays.
Patient. Steady. Faithful.
Waiting for you.
Enjoy!
