New Music Friday: "Worthy Of It All" by CeCe Winans

CeCe Winans' signature sound shines once again in this powerful worship anthem, "Worthy Of It All."

The song echoes the worship taking place in heaven right now, where all creation recognizes the greatness of our Savior.

In the book of Revelation, the Apostle John describes a breathtaking scene around God's throne:

"The twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: 'You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power...'" (Revelation 4:10-11)

Later, John hears countless angels joining in worship:

"Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!" (Revelation 5:12)

The elders casting their crowns before the Lord is a beautiful picture of surrender. Any honor, achievement, victory, or blessing they possess is laid at His feet because He alone is worthy.

We can exalt the Lord right here and now. When we're standing on the mountaintop celebrating answered prayers and unexpected blessings, He is worthy. When we're walking through a valley, carrying burdens that seem too heavy and barely holding it together, He is still worthy.

Our praise is not based on our circumstances. It is based on His unchanging character.

Scripture also paints a beautiful picture of our worship as incense rising before God. Revelation 5:8 says:

"Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God's people."

Again in Revelation 8:3-4, John writes:

"The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God's people, went up before God from the angel's hand."

Think about that for a moment. Every prayer whispered through tears, every song sung in faith, every declaration of God's goodness in difficult seasons rises before Him like a sweet fragrance. Just as incense filled the temple with its aroma, our worship fills heaven's throne room.

Praise changes our perspective. It reminds us that God is still on the throne. It shifts our focus from the size of our problems to the greatness of our Savior. And when we choose to worship, even when life is hard, we join the chorus of heaven declaring:

"Worthy is the Lamb."

So, whether you're celebrating today or simply trying to make it through, take a moment to lift your voice. The King of Kings is worthy of it all.
