“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap...”Luke 6:38
We witnessed incredible generosity during our Sharathon this year. Not only did we go over our goal in raising funds, but also we were overwhelmed by the love and kindness shown. The stories of why listeners have made us a part of their lives each day, what the ministry means to them and the testimonies of how God has used it in their lives, filled us to overflowing with gratitude.
We are excited to see how the Lord will use all that was given this year to further His work in our community and in our hearts.
Think of giving like an apple tree. Giving is a spiritual seed. In the natural, when you plant an apple seed, it doesn’t just grow a single fruit. That one seed grows into a tree that has an abundance of apples. The same thing happens when you obey God in your giving. You get an abundant harvest in return. You are so blessed that you can’t even contain it!
We appreciate all who gave in what will surely continue to be an abundant harvest.
We’re also incredibly grateful to the volunteers who gave generously of their time and those who provided food for us: Trinity Global Methodist Church, HCA Florida Putnam Hospital, CP Deli, Bradley’s, Niko’s, Peas-n-Carrots Catering, and several ladies from a local Bible study group.
It was a beautiful picture of how we truly are better together!
