When Giving Becomes The Greatest Gift

Looking back over all my Christmases, my favorite one wasn’t about a gift I received - it was about a gift I gave.

Years ago, my whole family came together… my older aunt and uncles, everyone.

We were able to give them gifts that made them feel remembered and cherished.

I still remember watching them open those presents: things like old family photos from when they were young, and seeing tears of joy in their eyes.

Those moments meant the world to me, especially now, because all of them are with the Lord.

I’ve never had another Christmas with them quite like that. But that one? That one stays in my heart.

It reminds me what Christmas is really about. It's not what we receive, but how we love, how we give, and how we cherish the people God puts in our lives while we have them.

So maybe this Christmas, the greatest gift we give won’t come from a store… it might just come from the heart.

And the most important gift we can share is the love of Jesus. As we give from our hearts, let’s also share His hope, peace, and joy with the people around us—because nothing we can wrap up compares to the gift of knowing Him.
