ONE STUDENT. ONE PRINCIPAL. ONE POWERFUL PRAYER.

This morning, students all across our nation gathered around their school flagpoles for See You at the Pole—students praying for their schools, their friends, their families, their communities, and their nation.

I had the privilege of attending the gathering at Palatka High School, where hundreds of students, teachers, and local pastors gathered together and lifted their petitions to our Heavenly Father.

It was an incredible sight.

But then I heard Robin sharing a story on Hope FM that touched my heart. One of our listeners, Lucas, goes to school in Palm Coast. He heard us talking about See You at the Pole earlier this week and went to his principal and asked, “Are we going to do this at our school?”

The principal had never heard of the event. But he didn't say, “We've never done that before.” He said, in essence, “Let's do it.”

So this morning, at that school's flagpole, Lucas (far right) was met by one other student—along with their local FCA rep and one principal. And they prayed.

No crowd. No big gathering. No stage. Just a student who cared enough to ask… and a principal who cared enough to say yes. And maybe that's the lesson we all need to hear today.

Never underestimate what God can do through one person who is willing to take the first step.

Sometimes revival looks like hundreds of students gathering together. And sometimes it looks like a couple of students standing at a flagpole, simply praying. Jesus said in Matthew 18:20, “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Today, students prayed. At Palatka Jr./Sr. High School, I was there to witness a much larger crowd. Seeing these kids bowing their heads and hearts to the Lord did my heart good.

Across our country with See You At The Pole, whether there were hundreds or just one or two, God was there.

So keep praying. Keep asking. Keep showing up.

Because you never know what God might do with one student… one teacher… one pastor… one parent… or one simple prayer. (Perhaps what Jeremy Camp is talking about in his latest song!)

See You at the Pole isn't just about gathering around a flagpole. It's about remembering who we can turn to when our schools, our families, our communities, and our nation need hope.

And that's a message worth carrying with us long after the crowd goes home.
