Thanks for flying Salvation Air!

Recently, Jo and I were on vacation and driving on a trip through a long stretch of boredom, where all you could really pay attention to were license plates and bumper stickers. That’s when a car passed us that had a familiar bumper sticker, you may have seen one----“God is my co-pilot". Jo and talked about it for a few moments, then we sort of had an epiphany and realized just how wrong this statement was, not only that, it could be dangerous. So we talked about it and sort of come up with our own team for our conveyance through life:

GOD IS OUR PILOT “A man’s heart plans his way, but the LORD determines his steps” (Prov. 16:9).

JESUS IS OUR CO-PILOT “He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.” (Psa. 23:3)

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE NAVIGATOR “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come.” (John 16:13)

THE ANGELS ARE OUR STEWARDS “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:14)

AND WHAT ABOUT US? We are seated in First Class enjoying the trip! “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,” (Ephesians 2:6); “…I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10) and “I am close to God and that is good.” Psalm 73:28

Thank you for flying Salvation Air!
